Levi Thornton Had Been Ill Six
Months.
Mr. Levi Thornton, one of the best
known residents of Coventry town-
ship, died Sunday evening at his
home of nervous prostration, after an
illness of six months.  For the past 12
weeks he had been confined to his
bed.
Mr. Thornton was born in Coven-
try township 67 years ago.  He had
also lived in the township all of his
life, with the exception of 15 years,
during which he was a resident of
Green township.  He leaves a widow
and four children.  The latter are:
William Thornton, of Coventry, Cora,
of Cleveland, Ida, of Akron, and
Charles of Indianopolis.  Deceased was
the owner of two farms, one of them
being located on South Main st., just
south of the city, and the other is lo-
cated six miles south of the city, and
is the tract on which the White Oak
Coal Co. is now conducting opera-
tions.
Funeral arrangements are incom-
plete
